Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Though wonderfully secluded, it’s just 5 minutes from the A55 perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey and beyond. Finish the day with a soak in the hot tub (optional extra) under the stars - your perfect coastal escape

Situated between the two historic bridges providing access to Anglesey & the Snowdonia National Park. The owners live close by & offer a warm welcome to their newly refurbished cottage. North Wales has become the adventure centre of Europe, from sailing to surfing, climbing to caving. It does get busy but staying at Allt Lwyd you'd never ever guess
