La Cantera is a self-contained accommodation situated in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Once a double-garage, it has been converted to offer our guests beautiful panoramic views, easy access to attractions in the surrounding area, privacy, relaxation, tranquillity, and a high-end interior with the added luxury of a hot tub and a log burner. Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from the Historic Town Centre of Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons National Park and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite and in the near vicinity. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with heater.

Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons are also just a short drive away making the house an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore all that the area has to offer. Bike storage and bike washing facilities available. Parking for 3 cars. Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional £20 pet fee per dog.

Dare Valley Country Park is a pleasant 2 mile walk away and there are other walks from the door although none are obvious so please ask for details.

Ty Glannant is a recently renovated stone house built in 1900. The house is situated in a great location to explore some of the best attractions in South Wales. A short walk will take you to Waterfall country and the entrance to Sgwd Gwladys, as well as many other fantastic countryside walks within the Brecon Beacons National Park. A short drive will take you to Pen Y Fan, Dan yr Ogof Caves, Zipworld Tower, Bike Park Wales and the beautiful Gower coastline.
