Shampoo, soap, coffee provided. Additional twin bed available on porch (spring / summer / fall - AC on porch. Not ideal during cold weather).

School House Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Quiet and remote. You will see plenty of wildlife and the stars at night, and listen to the coyotes howl. Located 3 miles southwest of Johnstown, NE. This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Merritt Dam Road Hill House

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. The back yard is spacious and perfect for your ATV trailer or a camper right off the alley. Also feel free to set up a tent. We provide everything you need to cook at the house, inside or outside. Sandhills get-away right off the main highway and extremely close to town. Halsey National Forest is just a few minutes away and many great Refuge lakes are in the area between Thedford and Valentine. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and fishing. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!

Cozy ranch house located in the north central Nebraska sandills. Just off Highway 20 between Stuart and Bassett, you are also just 45 minutes from O’Neill to the east or 1 hour 15 minutes from Valentine to the west. You can relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Has a spacious outdoor yard and being the only place on the road there is no other traffic neighbors.

Home Away From Home

Be my guest while I am away and forget your worries in this home with rustic charm and homey feel with the property having only 2 neighbors on either side located on a quiet street. Across the street on the front side offers a city park and the back has no neighbors/ alley with a big pasture perfect for watching sunsets. On the patio is a Traeger grill and firepit.

Have fun in the heart of pheasant country on the east edge of Winner, South Dakota. This newly remodeled space has been converted from an old lumber yard into a homey and comfortable space. It's less than a mile from town and is conveniently located on Us Highway 18. Within walking distance to the drive-in theater and local museum.
