Spectacular sunsets will take your breath away daily . Clean clear water invites you to swim, canoe, kayak or simply float . Notice the herron flying low, swans in the bay, and eagles keeping watch from a tree .

Relax under the large covered deck on a hanging swing or soak in the sun on the lower deck. Inside there is one bedroom with a double bed with storage under. Nestled between Toronto and Montreal, we are the perfect destination for those needing some quiet time while visiting the 1000 islands. Build a bonfire, go for a swim, explore your surroundings by canoe or on foot. There's lots to do. Or, do nothing at all. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

The Boathouse

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

Windswept on Wolfe

Windswept is the perfect word to describe the continual changes of the weather on Wolfe Island. The River one morning can be calm and serene but by the end of the afternoon, waves that rival the ocean come racing in. Each season brings its own delights, whether its kayaking along the shores in the summer, watching the steamships go by or seeing the deer at the waters edge. Windswept has something for everyone. Beautiful Lake Home in South Eastern Ontario

Our house is a wonderful place to enjoy being on a lake. You will be staying in our home where we live with our cat when we do not have airbnb guests. When we have guests, we live in a tiny house in the backyard and are available if needed. There is no landline but cell phone service is good. Internet is sometimes slow. It is not a good fit for large groups who are noisy or families with very energetic children because we have close neighbours who enjoy peace and quiet.
