We are situated in the small town of Blind River. Across from the river, boardwalk and a few minutes from the lake. Our apartment is on the upstairs floor of this historic 1897 home, with private entrance. Designed to ensure your every comfort is met, with space for four. We are in a dark sky preserve so star gazing can be added to your list of activities; hiking,fishing,swimming, boating,climbing,kayaking or just relaxing on the veranda with your feet up,watching the boats come in or listening to the loons on the bay.

Option of boat access from Diamond Lake boat launch, 45 minute drive from Sault Ste. Marie to launch and 5 minute canoe. Or drive on the new road, backroads to the cabin. Canoe is provided for you for crossing and during your stay!

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.

Our family friendly lake front cottage is located 40km east of Sault Ste Marie, the ideal space to escape and relax at. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with open concept living areas. Enjoy wonderful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.
