Ten minutes from I-95, Exit 67. Only yards to the public saltwater ramp, with access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the islands . Private bedroom, Queen size bed, big common room with fold out sofa, kitchenette. Screened in back porch. The Georgia coast is one of the most pristine natural areas on earth.

THE STORY HOUSE at The Old Parrott Place

The "Story House" is a 1917 home we moved onto our 15 acre property and renovated. It's furnishings are clean and comfortable, and its beautiful cypress interior belies its rough, aged exterior. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for you to whip up your own meals-the closest restaurant is miles away. This is the perfect place for a solitary writer or a family looking for a different kind of get-away! You'll want to explore the property- it's an Adventure in Learning about a by-gone era!

Take a boat tour with Georgia Tidewater Outfitters. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Bring your boat, the DARIEN BOAT RAMP IS 3 blocks away. Sapelo island is a 30 minute boat ride away. I/95 is less than 2 miles away for a quick overnight stay!

Fern Dock River Cottage

Ideal for couples, business and adventure travelers to relax in a "private" cottage on a bluff. Safe parking for vehicles. Tie a boat at the dock. Write or read a book, fish, watch birds, lay in a hammock or do some crabbing. Dine and visit historical and recreational areas. Steps lead down and up a private entry door of the cottage. Stay a week! (About 20 minutes to St. Simons Island and 40 to Jekyll Island beaches). Close to I-95 & Hwy 17. (A smoke-free and pet free cottage)

Woodsy Container Cabin

Nestled in a serene woodland, our container cabin is a tranquil escape. The one-bedroom layout features a queen-size bed for peaceful nights, and a versatile futon unfolds to accommodate one to two more guests. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker using pods. A full-size bathroom with a shower adds a touch of luxury. This cabin offers respite from the digital world, allowing you to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature.

Lighthouse Cottage

When visiting Darien, Lighthouse Cottage is a great choice. It is walking/bicycling distance from Downtown, Fort King George, Historic square, Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge (Great for wildlife photography) Parks and Waterfront also Restaurants and Shops. You'll find everything you need inside. Open living area, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom and there is an available washer/dryer. Perfect cottage for you and a companion.

River Retreat

This is a truly special property is a country paradise with direct access to the Satilla River. Inside of the home provides large living space and an open kitchen. Both bedrooms offer attached baths and the loft is the perfect space for the kids. Built in the old south style, the kitchen is attached via a breeze way. The kitchen wing offers living space and bedroom. The main house offers living space, bedroom and loft. Guest must read and agree to the property waiver.

Pet-Friendly Retreat by the River

Located at the end of 144 Spur and Fort McAllister State Park, across the street from the public launching ramp. Fish Tales Tiki Hut on the Marina in less than half mile away, bring your kayaks or boat and have a truly memorable time, we have the space! Wake up to Trees, walking trails are less than a block away. This is the scene of one the great navel battles of the civil war, explore the history of the fort.. We are 30 mins from Historic downtown Savannah.

Coastal Cottage is less than a mile from the Jekyll And Saint Simon's Island causeways and Historic Downtown Brunswick. Savannah and Jacksonville and their airports are an easy hour away. Come love what we love about our adopted hometown! We are pet lovers! So your pets are welcome. There is a $25 one time pet fee per pet to help cover the cost of the extra cleaning needed when our furry guests check out.

Palm Lake Escape (Dog Friendly)

Experience coastal Georgia from this spectacular 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath vacation rental house located in The Golden Isles. Up to 8 lucky travelers will have access to the dock on a spring fed lake. Spend afternoons swimming or kayaking on this lovely lake. Plan a day trip to St. Simons, Jekyll Island, or Cumberland Island before roasting s'mores at the outdoor fire pit. Fishing is catch and release only.
