Private, yet still close to trails and the Piney River. The porch overlooks Naked Creek, picturesque pastures and the beautiful rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mts. Gorgeous mountain views as you drive in. See horses, cows, calves, foals, chickens and occasional wildlife from the front porch.

This cozy and charming cabin was originally built as a country store in 1930 and has been updated with all the modern comforts. NEW in 2025- bathroom fully renovated with walk-in tiled shower! The cabin has a front porch perfect for sunset, back deck with gas grill, full kitchen, king bed, queen sofa bed, mountain views, and ten acres to explore. Come unplug and get away from it all! Tucked away on the “quiet” side of the famous route 151, we are minutes from trails, breweries, and more!

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.
