Our neighborhood is close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to local restaurants, shops, Riverfront Park, and more. For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. Enjoy this charming 1950's farmhouse, situated on 150 acres of countryside. Within an easy drive of Carlton, McMinnville, and Dundee—it's an ideal location for the exploring the area's many offerings. The house is well-appointed and surrounded by abundant gardens, towering cedar and fir trees—plus, a flock of chickens, three heritage sheep, and our Bengal cats add interest to the place. We live on the property (next door) with ample privacy/gardens between our place and the farmhouse.

Experience the relaxing sounds of the surrounding forest while you enjoy all the comforts of home inside or, if you're of the fit and adventurous variety, make your way through the trees to the babbling brook you can fall asleep listening to at night. Everything you can possibly need is less than a half hour's drive away from this place of peace and quiet.

The Darling Nest

Private 1 bedroom guesthouse with carport nestled in a peaceful McMinnville greenway. This spacious one level apartment is perfect for a maximum of 2 guests. Please note... It is not the best fit for families with small children. It is a clean and roomy (almost 900sq ft), well lit space with ample windows offering secluded views of a creek valley. Less than a mile from historic 3rd St, it provides a centrally located urban sanctuary ideal for a couple’s getaway or buddy retreat.

We are 7 minutes from the Nike Headquarters, 2 minutes from Columbia Sportswear Headquarters, and 15 minutes from Intel, making it a perfect stay for your business needs. We are within walking distance to a grocery store, pubs, small restaurants, and the Saturday Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

Guest Suite on lower level, Mid Century Modern home 4 blocks from historic downtown McMinnville in the heart of Wine Country. The McMinnville City Park, Aquatic Center and Library are just 2 blocks away. Owners live on the upper floor. Front entrance and front patio are exclusively for guests. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker(no stove-top or oven). Iron is available upon request.

The space is a well appointed, comfortable studio apartment. It is an ADU at the back of the main house. All the amenities that one would desire are provided (wifi, internet, cable TV, washer & dryer, fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, AC, cooking utensils, etc., etc). It is also very modern and clean, with a private entrance and keyless entry. Close to many restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Walking distance to Evergreen Aviation Museum & Waterpark, also to Mac 10 Cinema & Willamette Valley Hospital. 2 miles to Historic McMinnville 3rd St w/ amazing restaurants, shops & great tasting rooms & tap houses. Quiet neighborhood, private accommodations w/full kitchen & high end luxurious king mattress. Wifi and TV & DVD player w/movies, no cable but does have Roku.
