Dear people. I'am so lucky to live in my dreamhouse: a loft in an old sigar factory. The high ceilings and open space give an unique atmosphere. The house has an industrial look & feel but it's cosy and intimate at the same time. It's located in a quite street in the famous canaldistrict; it makes this spot the perfect base from where you can discover the city. De Pijp has a high density of cafés, and many nice places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also a stone's throw from the river from which Amsterdam takes its name: the Amstel. Almost all museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, canals and the city centre are all a short walk away.

You can swim nearby in the clean Amstel. Public transport and grocery shops are just around the corner. It’s truly the best spot in town.

I transformed this '19th century hay attic' on the second floor into a comfortable home (My 16 year old son and I live here). It is very light and spacious. The neighbourhood is filled with delis, bars and restaurants. Rijks, Stedelijk, van Gogh museum and the canals are around the corner. So are bike rentals, canal cruises, Paradiso and Concertgebouw. It is my home and studio (I am a designer), when I am travelling, I AirBnB it.
