Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

The Cozy Bear is centrally located 15 minutes from the airport with easy highway access for epic adventures and sightseeing! We are a husband-and-wife team living the dream in Alaska! We’re on hand to support our guests as little or as much as they wish.

Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. The house is 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.

Hillside Holiday Base Camp

Welcome to your home away from home in Anchorage, Alaska! The house is in a quiet neighborhood on the base of the Chugach Mountains. This private location is nicely wooded, features mountain views, and is conveniently located adjacent to Anchorage's world class hiking, biking, and skiing trails. The Alaska Zoo and Anchorage Golf Course are also very close. Grocery stores and excellent restaurants are just a few minutes away.

Charming southside mother in law studio. South facing windows shaded with trees offers just enough privacy yet lets dappled light come through. Private entrance includes an outside seating area for morning coffee. Inside provides many amenities to make your stay comfortable. Please, no scented candles or incense as the upstairs tenant is extremely allergic.

Enter the private gardens at Fireweed Lane, a two bedroom/one bathroom apartment with a separate entrance and all the amenities you can think of. This historic Anchorage home, built in 1940, is in the heart of Roger's Park, Anchorage's premiere midtown neighborhood. Located minutes from EVERYTHING and has trail/park access in the back yard.
