Only 5 minutes to the beach! There's a General Store that carries everything from groceries to camping supplies (and much more) open late -- only a hop, skip and a jump away from the house.

Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Beluga Bunkie

The Beluga Bunkie is a little piece of paradise on our private cliffside waterfront property in the heart of North Bay Ingonish. This private one-room bunkie was designed for optimal views all the time! Whether you're taking it in from the front porch or from the comfort of the bed, it's sure to take your breath away over and over again. Although there is no direct access to the water from our property, it's just a short 10min walk to where you can dip your toes at a sandy beach.

Located in Dingwall, a small picturesque fishing community located approximately half way around the Cabot Trail. Although we do allow fur babies, please take note of the additional rules with regards to pets. Enjoy your stay in Northern Cape Breton in this newly remodelled apartment! It's 7 minutes from the Cabot Trail in Sugar Loaf, NS (Dingwall is our mailing address). It's a short walk to the Ocean down our driveway with Mountain views. Wi-Fi and parking are included. The home itself was built around 1880. It has been a lodge and Inn since then. There's a General store in the house, not active as a store but somewhat of a museum that will be opened in the future.
