The River Room

This peaceful King Room with a private bath is located on the first floor & has everything you need for your trip! The old beams across the ceiling and huge pine floor boards make this room extra special, not to mention the propane fireplace & stunning views of The Machias River! Antique decor with a touch of Maine in the room help to capture that 1830’s farmhouse vibe. The room is stocked with coffee, linens, & soaps, along with a tray of goodies ready for your arrival! A guest favorite.

The Nubian Nook @ Groovy Goat Farm Co

Welcome Nubian Nook @ Groovy Goat Farm Co in beautiful Ingonish. This compact private room has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, including a private bath and kitchenette. It is situated on the second story of our brand new soap shop and gelateria. This unit is the only one that offers a unique, private kids nook with a half-size mattress and private tv. No kids? The nook is a great place to store some extra luggage! Please note this room only has a small window in the door.

Dominion Hill Country Inn - Curtis Suite

This private premier suite overlooks the gardens. The large bedroom has a polished wood floor installed more than 150 years ago. French doors separate the king size bed from the sitting room, with a full sized pull-out sofa. The private bathroom is spacious with a large shower. The suite is air conditioned with a smart television with Roku, WiFi, and a mini fridge. Head downstairs in the morning and enjoy breakfast on our outdoor stone patio or in the Manor House dining rooms.

Robin Jones' Queen Suite (Silver Lining Inn)

The Silver Lining Inn, dating back to the late 1800’s, features a coffered ceiling in the reception area, authentic door and window trims and not to mention the original door bell on the front entrance. The house’s foundation was built with rocks that were carried over the harbour on the ice from Cheticamp Island, the same rocks used to build the village’s church During the 2018 renovations, maintaining the house's historic charm was never a question for the new owners.

Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

With easy access to the Pedestrian Mall in the summers, an abundance of restaurants and nightlife within easy walking distance (though not close enough to hear), this is the ideal downtown base for your visit to St. John’s. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place. Sisters Inn is a 100+ year old restored building with 5 unique guest rooms with private ensuites. Relax and slow down, breathe in the ocean air and incredible views from our ocean front patio while dining at the Brightside Bistro. All of our guest rooms are located on the second floor of the building (stairs only).
