Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

Come experience farm life for yourself and stay at The Owl’s Nest Wilderness Cottage – our private, off grid retreat that boasts open pastures, wildlife and a warm Nova Scotia welcome! The first water wheel sawmill was built in Burlington in the late 1880s. Our wheelhouse is a reminder of the rich history of our town. Relax and enjoy the soft trickle of our functioning water wheel while enjoying the view of the harbour from the deck or fire pit. The interior of our wheelhouse offers a unique and functional design, with many reclaimed boards from family homes and wharves over 90 years old. Come explore our town, meet the locals, and enjoy!
