Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

The guest apartment ( FULLY RENOVATED FINISHED BASEMENT) is an addition to our luxurious home. A 2 bedroom apartment with one king sized bed, Queen sized bed and a plush leather pull out sofa. Pool ltable. Large in ground pool, 4 lounge chairs, fire pit and dining table. Pool and gated backyard is exclusive to guests. We include netflix, hulu and hbo max. HEATED POOL IS OPENED IN MAY AND CLOSED LATE SEPTEMBER. The pool is cleaned daily in the morning. The pool is exclusive to guest.

Farm House

A serene get away in a farm cottage on a real working farm. We homesteaded this property in 2012 and have created our own slice of paradise. We grow produce and flowers we sell at a local farmers market. We have Scottish Highlander cows, an ex racehorse, a shetland pony, goats, ducks, chickens, barn cats and a resident farm dog, Finula. You're welcome to roam the property, sit by the pond, visit with the animals, take a tour of the farm or explore all that Litchfield county has to offer!

The Carriage House Skiing Nearby

Newly built contemporary light filled spacious 700 ft carriage house/Loft. It is walking distance to the Farmington river and downtown historic Collinsville. Just off the cycling "rails to trails" river trail, you'll find places to also kayak, SUP, fish and swim. The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..

Windy Top Cottage ~ A Romantic "European" Getaway

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!

The Little Red Schoolhouse ~ Circa 1877

This wonderful old building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and operated as the District 9 schoolhouse until 1948.
