La piccola casa in grotta ha un ingresso indipendente. è una piccola camera ipogea ricavata totalmente all’interno della massa tufacea . Le grotte hanno un loro particolare microclima che viene regolato da impianto di riscaldamento in inverno e deumidificazione quando necessario. Nello spazio esterno, arredato con tavolino e sedie, è possibile incontrare e fare amicizia con la mia gattina e con il mio cane, un dolcissimo Border Collie . Soggiornare in una grotta è un esperienza.

La mia casa è una tipica abitazione dei Sassi di Matera, in parte scavata nella roccia ed in parte costruita in tufo. Gli spazi sono stati arredati con un accenno di richiamo alla storia dei popoli che hanno vissuto per secoli in queste grotte, senza togliere nulla al confort che la modernità ci ha donato. Il trullo non e’ isolato ma posizionato in un area con altri 2 trulli adibiti ad affitti (un piccolissimo villaggio) .
