You get our pub for just your group - you supply your own food and drink. We have been told by people that driving the road to our farm feels like going back in time. We are located on a small narrow lane (boreen). Our beautiful farmyard is surrounded by magnificent dry stone walls that divide field boundaries and give you the link between past and present. We have worked hard over a number of years to convert the beautiful traditional stone outbuildings into modern comfortable accommodation for you to enjoy, we hope you like visiting as much as we like living here.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
