Apartment is not within the main house, however, is “attached to the garage of the main house”. Located within walking distance to City park, Hospital & a Performing Arts Center. University of Louisiana, Cajundome & Convention Center, shopping & local restaurant favorites are within a mile. Kitchen area is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker & a toaster.

The Barn - Upstairs

The Barn is only 2 miles from the interstate tucked away on three acres of peaceful, private property. The Barn is to the left of our home. Parking signs are clearly marked. The stairs to The Barn lead to a 1000 square foot custom built apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king size bed, a living area with a sofa sleeper, a work room with a desk and sofa sleeper, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a large deck with a view of the pond. We can accommodate 6 guests.

This spacious apartment offers a very tranquil setting in the Cajun capital of south Louisiana. Comfortably lounge around on the couch with two extending recliners or cook your favorite meal in the full sized kitchen, all with a beautiful view of centenial oaks. The bedroom is also spacious, with a designated work area, a queen sized bed, and an additional futon. The adjacent bath offers a dressing room.
