The real treat is outside, where you'll find over 2000 SF of 10 foot wide covered porches, along with another 1000 SF of deck and dock space; all open for your relaxation.

With views of the water from the front porch and the quiet peaceful surroundings this home is sure to be perfect for anyone wanting to go fishing on their boat, hunting, or enjoy a family vacation. There is a private neighborhood boat ramp available right out front and the home does have a backup generator, large front and back porches, large living area with plenty of seating and a large laundry room great for storing any extras!

If you want to have a busy vacation in a crowded area, this is not the stay for you. Come enjoy the natural beauty of the two-mile wide, beautiful, brackish Pamlico river.

The whole family will love staying in our pirate themed cottage. Since we vacation here too, the house has been carefully curated to include everything you need to relax and enjoy waterfront views and privacy. Enjoy the river from atop a paddle board or from the comfort of our expansive screened in porch. The house is located on an arm of Bath creek and has access to the water from a private pier. Bring your boat or rent kayaks from several local companies. It’s peaceful and quiet here.

Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and six other wildlife refuges are located within an easy drive. Our community of Terra Ceia is located in the center of the historic towns of Belhaven, Bath, Plymouth and Washington. A day trip to the Atlantic Ocean is easy as the cottage is approximately ninety miles to beaches both north and south.

PIPSHAK on the Pamlico River

The PIPSHAK is a "little ole' place where we can get together". Our family home has been a favorite place of friends, family and guests for years a place to get away from it all.
