Beer has a lovely selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. There are plenty of coastal path or countryside walks. Branscombe, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are nearby.

Please be aware there is a fairly long steep hill from the village/beach up to the caravan park.

The shingle beach with promenade is a mile long, with easy access to the Southwest coast path.
