Surrounded by fields and pasture, and nestled beside the creek you will get to see lots of nature. Honey Creek is a Class A native brown trout stream. Excellent fishing! While it is in a quiet area, there’s lots to do close by… Several State Parks, Pine Creek, Kish Creek, a small town with several restaurants and a beautiful park, take a tour of Amish country and more!

Stream Side Getaway in Big Valley

Stream Side Getaway is located in the beautiful Big Valley along Stone Mountain. This house is on the side of a shop on the upper level. We are close to hiking, bike trails, Raystown Lake, Greenwood State park, and the local Wednesday flea market and livestock auction. There is a small tranquil creek as well as a fire pit and sitting area for you to enjoy. S'mores are a must. :) Our goal is a clean, relaxing atmosphere, and we're just across the lawn if you should need anything!

Our quiet village is conveniently in the heart of Amish Country halfway between Lewistown, State College, and Huntingdon. A relaxing oasis for adults and kids alike, our 1930s Cape Cod is situated along a quiet walking/biking trail and is well-equipped for long and short stays alike. Enjoy our indoor fireplace on cold winter nights, the breezy screened-in porch for your morning coffee or evening drink, and river frontage for hot sunny days. We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

We are located in the beautiful big valley in Amish country. The valley includes tourist stores, produce stands and baked goods, and quilts. We are only 35 minutes from Penn State, Lake Raystown is only 45 minutes, Mifflin Co. airport is 5 min, 3.5 miles from 322. Enjoy relaxing and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the deer and beautiful country scenery. Guests are welcome to give the deer treats. Private outdoor fire pit. Corn hole game is available.

The Log House on Main is known to be one of the oldest homes built in Belleville, Pa. It has been completely restructured and renovated. The log house will give you all the old home cabin feels with all of the modern conveniences. You can enjoy the patio with a view on spring and summer days and the fireplace during the cool fall and winter evenings. The house is located 30 miles from Penn State, 10 miles from Greenwood Furnace and 25 miles from Raystown Lake.
