In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. 🌿 Cozy cabin nestled in the peaceful Wisconsin woods—your perfect getaway. Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars, explore private forest trails, gather around the fire pit,  and enjoy watching our free-range goats, ducks and chickens. note that our home is across the driveway, so you may occasionally see us caring for the animals, but your cabin and outdoor space are all your own and we respect the privacy of all our guests. Funky, tidy 23 year old country cabin on 120 acres of farmland & woods in a private, quiet rural setting. It's cozy, 950 sq ft, built with stone and wood. Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Rustica Retreat is a unique tiny house, designed by my husband and I, that maximizes the limited space we have. At 256 square feet, Rustica sounds small, but feels spacious. With 10-foot high vaulted ceiling, as well as six windows that bring the outside, in. Rustica fits her name, with a country chic feel to her. The inside has clean lines, white shiplap walls, wood accented ceiling and counters, and metal accents. Located at Red Barn Farm, a micro fresh cut flower farm in SW WI.

Home away from home right off the trail

Discover the beauty of Southwest Wisconsin from this 2-bedroom country house located right off the Cheese County Trail located on trail accessible roads. This newly updated property features 2 queen beds and charging nightstands, 2 bathrooms, and a cozy living room with 2 futons. Along with a finished basement perfect for hanging out with a good game of euchre or kicking up your feet after a good day on the trail. In the peaceful spacious backyard, enjoy a night around the campfire.

Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Unplug and get back to nature

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

Hamilton Goebel House

This house is a historic home that was built in 1833 on land owned by Jamison Hamilton, the founder of Darlington. It is not known if he actually lived in the house,but could be assumed. During your stay you will find bits of history and pictures that have been gathered along the way.It has all the comforts of home. A beautiful four bedroom home that has been completely renovated to reflect the old and new times. This home was on the list to be torn down by the city.
