Situated 15 minutes outside of Twizel in the heart of the Mackenzie, it has direct access to all of the natural amenities that the area is world famous for including snow sports, mountaineering, hiking & tramping, mountain-biking, hunting & fishing among many other activities.

This newly built cottage is located in a peaceful location. Guests will have sole occupancy of the cottage. It has a great mountain view and the dark night sky reserve here. It's only 45 mins drive to Mt Cook National Park, 10 mins drive to Lake Pukaki. It is air-conditioned and provides all the necessary amenities and essentials to make your stay comfortable. Two bedrooms with a very comfy King size bed and two Single beds. A nice bathroom is completed with a waterfall-style shower head.

For those who fancy a luxury escape; Stargaze the Milky Way from your own luxury outdoor bath, then come inside to a toasty warm fire. Enjoy the comfort of a king size bed with luxury linen, looking directly through to the lake and mountains beyond. In the bathroom, relax in our freestanding bath or enjoy a rain shower for two. Set in Lake Pukaki in the Canterbury region, near Twizel, Pukaki Lakeside Getaway House has superb mountain and lake views. You have the whole house to yourselves, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, large dining and living areas with satellite flat-screen TV, wi-fi, a balcony/patio for outdoor living and 4 bedrooms. Lake Pukaki is a short walk down the hill from the house. Lake Tekapo is 50km away and the town of Twizel is 10km miles away. Mt Cook is a 40 minute drive away.
