Sjónarhóll is a holiday home built year 2000 in the Vörðufell area close to Laugarás small village, by the roads of the Golden circle. Beautiful location and scenery to the rivers Hvítá and Laxá. Hekla the volcano can be seen to the east and the glacer Langjökull to the northeast and panorama of other mountains. The Little Blue House - Golden Circle

You truly are in the middle of the countryside here. Surrounded by mountains, hot springs and wild horses, yet only a five minute drive from the nearest shop, gas station and restaurant. The house is located in the heart of the golden circle and is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding nature. Geysir, Gulfoss and Thingvellir national park are very close. If you have a suitable vehicle I would strongly recommend driving the road around the lake at Thingvellir - it’s amazing.

Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter.
