Enjoy a peaceful vacation at the lake! You will feel like you are away from it all! YET - very conveniently located only 7 miles from I-65 and 15 min from shopping and restaurants. There is a grocery store only 5 miles away! Attending a wedding or event at The Barn? We are only 9 miles from the barn! Bring your boat! There is a slip just for you at the boat dock. Enjoy our gentle slope to the lake (which is hard to find on Smith Lake!!). There is a sun deck and kayaks included in the fun!

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

The Creek Indian Village known as Littafatchee was less than 1/2 mile up creek from the treehouse.

McAlpine Farm Experience with Goats Cows & more!

Miles from Oneonta, Albertville and State Parks. New construction completed in July 2024 to provide an AirBnB to those who love peace and pastoral settings. This dog friendly space features 1.5 acres of fenced pasture for your pet as well as a beautiful view of the pond, located on the other 37 acres of the working farm. You can walk a short distance to feed the five goats in residence on the property, including three babies born 3/4/25.
