A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

Our cabin comfortably accommodates 4 to 6 guests. The kitchen is well-appointed with cookware, utensils, and more. Approximately 250 feet from Lake Mitchell.

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

We're also right next to the Boardman Lake Trail loop. So bring your bikes, bring your kayaks! Our place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Log cabin hand built by my dad in the early 70’s (my mom helped too!). Live like the Brady Bunch with authentic orange kitchen counters, with modern updates like a cozy gas stove, great knives and cookware, and high-quality linens. Private and fenced with deck and fire pit. Cabin is central to the Manistee National Forest, a short jaunt up to Sleeping Bear Dunes or Crystal Mountain, and the North Country Trail is just down the road. Ask me about fishing charters!

A simple getaway. Lake access right down the street with public boat ramp. Great for taking a break in an incredibly designed cabin. The water is okay for taking a shower and washing dishes, but please use bottled water for cooking and drinking. Downtown Evart drive 15 minutes. Downtown Cadillac drive 25 minutes.
