Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Our cabin is outfitted with most everything you will need during your stay, you only need to bring your food and personal items. Full kitchen and dining area, wrap around porches and a great view. Our secluded cabin sits on a mountainside between Ponca and Jasper, near the Buffalo River. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs each with queen bed, one downstairs w queen bed & twin bunkbed, 2 twins in entry, 1 futon upstairs), two remodeled bathrooms, central AC/heat, WIFI, Roku TV, small deck with charcoal grill, large dining room table & lots of windows. 2 miles from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, 2 miles from Steel Creek, 4 miles from Ponca, 5 miles from Kyle's Landing, 9 miles from Jasper.

Get away and unwind from it all at our private little cabin tucked away off the beaten path on 80 acres of wooded serenity in the Ozark mountains. My husband and I have enjoyed this cozy, peaceful cabin for several years until we built our new cabin home next door. We absolutely love this place and confident you will too! We are off Hwy 327 about 3/4 mile down a gravel road. 4x4 or all wheel only to prevent spinning uphill. The cabin is 8 miles from Jasper and 2 miles from Parthenon.

This charming cabin is located in the heart of the Upper Buffalo River Wilderness area and is less than 9 miles in either direction to Jasper, Arkansas or to the historic Boxley Valley. Jasper is a quaint town where restaurants, eclectic shops and groceries can be found and the Boxley Valley offers many opportunities to view the wild elk that live there and also has many great hikes including Lost Valley and the Buffalo River Trail (BRT).

Misty Hollow Hideaway is conveniently located near the Hasty, Carver, and Blue Hole public accesses on the Buffalo River, providing some of the best floating, fishing, and swimming holes in the country. Round Top, Hawksbill Crag, Cecil Creek Trail, Buffalo River Trail, and other great hikes await those seeking a more physical adventure. Start the day with breakfast on the deck as birdsong greets the morning sun rising over the ridge.

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Eden's Pond (headwaters to Eden's Falls) the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind! With a full kitchen, fire pit (firewood 5$ armload), charcoal grill, and more we wish you to be able to vacation deliberately, comfortably, and affordably! Bring your fishing pole! We do have Pyrenees dogs who watch over the farm, they are harmless!
