The cottage is open style living opening on to a decking with bi fold servery windows from the kitchen.Decking with outdoor seating ,umbrella and barbecue overlooks a large grassed area surrounded by natural bush.The living area has double opening doors leading to the decking .Living area has a comfy couch ,Smart T.V , R/C aircon and a wood burning fire.The large bedroom has a king sized bed with ensuite .There is a travel cot suitable for a baby.Well supervised dogs are welcome. Studio on Higgins is in the heart of Margaret River town. You are a hop, skip & jump to local shopping, coffee shops, restaurants & a brewery on the main street. Our back gate opens up to the amazing Margaret River, Old Kate Rotary Park, forest walks, bike trails, Old settlement, the Hairy Marron coffee shop & bike hire. Right in the heart of Margaret River, this very special house and garden sanctuary includes outdoor relaxation spaces including an undercover living area with outdoor heating for the winter months. The house boasts an eclectic collection of art from my work in remote Aboriginal communities and from local artists. From the house, you can enjoy an easy walk to the river, forest and the main street galleries, shops and cafes. Winery tour operators can pick you up from the house.

The nearest beach is at Gracetown bay just a 15 minute drive from the property.

Situated just 5kms (NE) of Margaret River township, the immensely popular Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay is a gazetted “Land for Wildlife” property. Our “farm” encompasses 23 hectares and is home to a wide array of animals including Dorper sheep, alpacas, Scottish Highland cattle, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, emus, peacocks and chickens. Kids and adults enjoy our animal feeding every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
