Hike in the Hocking Hills, check out nearby historical sites, then relax and rejuvenate at the cabin. Rushville is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Featured in the 1991 Fine Home Building magazine, the Kennedy Cabin is built with 90% salvaged local materials. Note: This property is smoke free, no smoking.

Cozy Cabin by Perry State Forest

This cozy cabin is available to rent that sleeps up to 5 comfortably. There is a full bathroom that was newly built in April 2025. It has a private bon fire pit area located in the woods behind the cabin. We are located next to the Perry State Forest. Where you can ride straight out of our drive to the trails. There are also hiking trails and 4706 acres of public land to hunt. There is a microwave and fridge there. There is also a large communal shelter house and camp kitchen.

The home includes a fully functioning kitchen, dining area, large living room, indoor wood burning fire place, outdoor fire pit, grill, outdoor seating area and a new hot tub recently added! There is also plenty of parking available in the rear of the home.
