3 Sisters Cabin is an historic, pre-Civil War log cabin; one of only a few surviving 2-story log cabins along Virginia's scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. 3 Sisters is the only VA property featured in "The Top 100 Most Beautiful Rustic Vacation Properties in North America". Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.

This home has a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, 2 loft floor mattresses; basement has a full bed and bathroom. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Geese, heron, and an occasional eagle fly along the river valley.
