Welcome to our private guest house in our most beautiful Historic homestead (formerly Old Cran House) You have complete privacy and a separate entrance along a paved pathway to the front entrance. Avalon on Bourbong was built in 1894 by renowned architect FH Faircloth for the local Sugar baron Robert Cran. We chose to rename it after our daughter Avalon as she is like sunshine entering the room, also respecting our local indigenous who endured less than ideal working conditions under Mr Cran.

You're within walking distance of the local cafe and a short 3km trip to the grocery store and bottle shop. For a night out, you can go into the cute little town of Bargara, only 30 minutes away. Bring your work, commute into Bundaberg, walk along the beach, or just spend some much needed time unwinding. Welcome!

Private and spacious room offers a queen bed, kitchenette and sofa with an accessible bathroom. Outside the patio overlooks bush land and Burnett River with seating and bbq. 10 minutes to shopping centre and restaurants, 15 minutes to Bundaberg CBD. Please note there is NO Wi-Fi, but we have Telstra and Optus reception and you can hotspot to the TV for streaming services. We do not allow dogs onsite, this is for their own safety as our property is not fully fenced.
