The Old Music Room

The Old Music Room is in the beautiful and special village of Geldeston, in the Broads National Park. It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

The Little Barn, Topcroft, Artist’s home

The Little Barn, a 16th Century hideaway artistically restored, by a Suffolk artist. With no through traffic and no light pollution, silent evenings and clear night skies. Topcroft is a sleepy village beside the Waveney valley and 25 minutes from the medieval city of Norwich. You'll love this rural location. Mustard Pot Cottage

Mustard Pot Cottage is a charming 18th century barn conversion. The property comprises luxurious accommodation with a pretty enclosed south-facing garden which overlooks a pond. There is a light airy bedroom with a king size bed and a chest of drawers, a bathroom with a spacious walk in shower and a very well equipped kitchen with a dining and seating area. The cottage has a stylish Everhot mini stove as the main feature of the sitting room. A beautiful space with wooden floors throughout.

“The Elms Shepherds Hut”

Our beautiful little shepherds hut is ready for letting. Get away from it all and stay under the stars deep in the Suffolk countryside. Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.

Old Post Office Stable

Old Post Office Stable sits in the heart of a conservation area on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Thorpe Abbotts is home to the 100th Bomber Group Museum. They say that the squaddies mailed their love letters back home at the Old Post Office ! 40 mins to the coast, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Southwold,, with shopping in Norwich, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. 10 mins drive from Diss train station with a direct line to London. The Norfolk Broads only 15 mins in the lovely market town of Beccles.
