It features a stone fireplace, fire pit, lounge sofas, & dining tables. This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!

Two full bedrooms and baths for amazing privacy. Explore the local scenery by day and Sit around the bonfire by night! You won't find anything this peaceful without sacrificing the modern essentials. A small, shallow private lake (no fish or motorcraft) crystal clear water. A row boat is available. Several marked walking trails throughout the property. An ideal place for reflection and enjoying nature. You will be off the beaten path. Out of respect for those who are looking for a natural retreat with lots of wildlife: No Pets, Children, Smoking

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Whether you need relaxing, or relish fishing, hunting, navigating Wisconsin ATV trails, or biking the Gandy Dancer, we hope you will enjoy our family friendly getaway in the North woods. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

This cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Wooded acreage gives you privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from MPLS, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place for you to shop and grab a bite. You can use the kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix, or hang a fishing line out and see what you catch! Message me for ideas! Have a large family? Relax and unplug at this comfortable and accommodating cabin on Long Lake just south of Danbury, WI. Our favorite activities include: bonfires, swimming, kayaking, feeding fish off the dock, catching fish, and games indoor and out. Sit back and take in the beautiful sunsets this property has to offer while creating life long memories with friends and family. There is a detached garage with a bunkhouse above the garage.
