Yarrabee Retreat is a cosy, modern, freshly renovated space (55m2) situated on our 2 and a half acres, framed by gum trees and with abundant wildlife. Yarrabee means "many gum trees", and is only five mins drive to Clare. An easy 5 mins walk to Clare Valley Cycle Hire and a leisurely stroll to local wineries. A bright open plan living area, with the kitchenette equipped with a single burner induction hob and microwave. The space is perfect for two, ok for three, but a little cosy for four😁

Burra Hills

Located in a beautiful and lush garden with stunning views over Burra's golden hills, this is where you relax in a calm and stylish atmosphere. Our one bedroom accommodation sleeps a maximum of two people, has a well equipped kitchenette, a lounge/dining area, TV, Wi-Fi and AC. On the verandah, you can enjoy a glas of wine. A five minutes stroll down treelined streets takes you to Burra's main street, with its country pubs, inviting cafes, historic buildings, shops and the vistor center.

Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage will be featured on Inside Selling Houses Australia New Beginnings as a follow up to the make over of my Church property in Ellalong, NSW. (Selling Houses Australia Season 16 episode 1). Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston. The ‘Thames Street Cottages’ are some of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and are a fine example of some of the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Arthur's Place Burra is a charming and thoughtfully renovated stone cottage, originally built in 1930 by local man Arthur Harris. Blending historic character with modern comfort, this self-contained retreat offers a unique stay in the heart of Burra. Arthur's Place is a two minute walk to the heart of Market Square for local shopping and dining experiences and perfect for exploring the local heritage listed area of Burra and further beyond around the Clare Valley. The Swaggies Hut is one of several heritage accommodation buildings at Bungaree. This cottage once accommodated the iconic travelling swagman, but today is a beautiful king suite, perfect for a couple wanting to escape to the beautiful Clare Valley. Breakfast provisions (e.g. eggs, bacon, juice, cereal) are included. Guests can explore the historic station, meet the animals, visit local wineries and other attractions. Multiple night stays are discounted by up to 20%.
