We have beautiful views of the mountains and of Norris Lake from outside your cabin. We are a Private 140-acre working hay farm surrounded by an additional 260 acres of forest with over 10 miles of trails for your enjoyment. The Lake is a short hike from your door and is great for fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, wildlife, camping, and picnicking.

You won’t forget your adorable little “boat house” vaca! THE HOUSE IS FLOATING ON THE WATER & CAN ONLY BE REACHED BY WATER. You must either bring your own boat OR kayak OR rent a pontoon boat. Shore access can be via our SUP/kayaks once at the house. Please note there is no wifi. Lots of room to lay your heads, shower/change, and cook meals. Fawn Times- Waterfront with dock on Norris Lake

Welcome to Fawn Times, our waterfront home in Deerfield Resort. Our lakefront property is conveniently located inside of the no wake zone in Deerfield Marina and our brand new dock is the perfect place to take a dip. We have a kayak, paddle board, and floating mat for your enjoyment, as well as a 2022 Harris Tritoon available for rent. Additionally, Deerfield Resorts has a golf coarse, pool, playground, volleyball and tennis court, and restaurant located in the marina.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
