The Boathouse, Mornington

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s no television or WiFi, just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continental breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER.

A unique location with breath-taking scenery with access to bike trails and Hill walking at Slieve Gullion Forest Park.

Set in the heart of medieval Carlingford, Co. Louth, The Baby House @ Wood Quay provides a unique and charming accommodation experience – it has the best of both worlds being right on the sea but in the heart of the village! The property comprises of an open plan ground floor of kitchen & living area with a small bathroom with shower, the whole room has floor to ceiling views of the lough. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, fire pit and paddle boards whilst experiencing breathtaking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.
