This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Welcome to The Squirrel Away! We have a 3 bedroom cottage on quiet and peaceful Jordan Lake. Suitable for 4 Adults and 3 kids or 6 adults. Cottage has a 6 person hot tub and a separate wood fired sauna at the water for you to enjoy year round. It sits above the lake facing south west for amazing views. It is heated by woodstove for that authentic cottage feel. Wood, x-country skis, snow shoes, and drilled well. There are 3 Kingsdown Queen sized beds with one having a single on top.
