A cute cottage with a POOL on a working horse farm in the Texas Hill Country. Beautiful quiet setting close to Boerne, Fredericksburg shopping, dining and Wine Country, and San Antonio. River kayaking is close by and Comfort is an Antique shopping Mecca. The horses are friendly and complete the beautiful view out your front door. We are not a riding facility but love to share our beautiful farm with visitors looking for a peaceful holiday, convenient to lots of activities. Limit two guests.

Welcome to the Day's Away River Hs, located on the beautiful Guadalupe River in Center Point, TX. Located halfway between Comfort & Kerrville & halfway between Bandera & Fredericksburg. 50 minutes from San Antonio & 30 minutes from Hunt. The water is deep & the river is wide at our retreat. You can barbecue, swim, tube, canoe, fish or just relax. There are 2 wonderful covered decks that run across the entire back of the house. Our precious house is fully equipped to provide a marvelous vacation.

Our place is just 10 minutes from Kerrville, 5 minutes from Comfort and 30 minutes from Hunt & Fredericksburg. We are located in the heart of the Hill Country with live water on two sides of the property. You’ll love our home as it has 10 Acres nestled on 600' of Guadalupe river frontage. Our manufactured home has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths with a large front porch, Party pavilion inclusive of hot tub, outdoor fireplace with fantastic couch seating, pool table, smoker, grill, outdoor dining for 12.

The Corner Haus

The “Corner House” was built in 1954 by my parents, LeRoy and Colleen Bohnert, who made it their home for 63 years. Their home was filled with love and laughter and was a magnet for the neighborhood kids to play. My parents loved to entertain family and friends. My mother always had homemade cookies for to serve the guests. My husband and I remodeled the house in 2018. The house has two bedrooms, one bath, a screened porch which is perfect for morning coffee or that evening glass of wine.

Fully remodeled 4 bedroom 2 bath Home with spectacular views overlooking Kerrville. This 2 story home features a brand new 7 person Master Spa Hot Tub, game room for the kids, and large covered deck with one of the best views in town. This is a two story house with the main living area on the second floor, being able to climb stairs is necessary. The driveway is steep, but this only adds to the remarkable views from the top deck! No guest cleaning or doing laundry required, enjoy your stay!!

A PET FEE IS REQUIRED IN YOUR RESERVATION Sendero Casita is located on this property as well with a maximum of 2 guests.

Star gazing and sitting on our beautiful pavillion while you grill is only one of the reasons why you should book with us. Enjoy the homemade cookies and treats left by the host, Judi, as a welcome gift with a cup of coffee in the mornings at the stone firepit. "So peacefull" is the feedback from past guests. Wander the park like property and hike to the very top of our own little mountain and see for miles. Roast marshmallows over the firepit on starry nights. Rest-Relax-Return!

Historic Storyville Bank Loft

Fantastic open loft in one of downtown Center Point's historic buildings. This was the Bank in Center Point for 28 years. (The Guadalupe Valley Bank operated in Center Point from 1908 until 1936 when it failed during the Great Depression.) Recently undergoing a thorough renovation, it now has all the modern conveniences to make your stay memorable. Outside the loft are three acres of gardens which include blooming flowers, roses, and both red and white grape vines.

Briarwoode Farm Getaway

A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.

Riverside Cabin

The Riverside Cabin was originally constructed in 1935 as a Hill Country get-away to accommodate hunting, fishing and river activities. It is located on the original route to the Old Spanish Trail on the banks of the Guadalupe River, within 1/2 mile of Comfort's Historic District. Situated on 10 acres, the cabin is a quiet, private retreat and a comfortable central location for exploring the Hill Country.

The Historic Hotel on Main-The Chase (first floor)

The Chase includes the entire first floor of The Historic Hotel on Main. This 1890s Hotel has been lovingly restored. The Chase is a three bedroom, two bath suite that will sleep 8. Enjoy the open concept kitchen, living area, and dining room. There are two large flat screen TVs with Direct TV. The backyard includes a barbecue pit, picnic table and round bistro table with additional chairs.
