Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Stonehill Cottage with Room to Roam

Welcome to our 1845 cobblestone home! Completely renovated and rebuilt with your comfort in mind. We call it a cottage, but it's [now] a super well-built house with 100+ acres of fields, pond and trails to explore! An Ontario Parks summer pass is included for your use. When you book you'll see that HST is added to your nightly rate and cleaning fee, and a Municipal Accommodations Tax is added to your nightly rate only. Stays longer than 29 days are exempt from both of these taxes.

Camping by the River

This Campsite is situated on the Moira River between Tweed and Madoc. It is on my 4 acres of property and my house is in within site depending on where you set up. I have a canoe that is available for use to explore the semiprivate river. The campsite has the cleanest outhouse and a outdoor shower with hot water. There are many trails to explore as well as local conservation parks. Let me know what you're interested in and I can show you the way.
