Our cabin is nicely positioned to allow access to many scenic day trips taking in places such as Maleny, Montville, several National Parks & The Glasshouse Mountains. We have put together some suggested itineraries to help you make the most of your time with us and includes trips to waterfalls, short and long bush walks and restaurants. Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

The Hideaway - Self Contained Cabin in bushland

A secluded, fully self contained annex comprising of 3 rooms with all the amenities you need for a quiet and relaxing break. Set back and away from the main property the cabin sleeps 4 comfortably. There is also Parking for at least 2 cars. Access to around 40 acres of bushland with established trails for walking or mountain biking with plenty of wildlife to see is also included. We are also close to Dayboro, Mount Mee and Lake Samsonvale.

The nearby beaches and parks are very popular for swimming, picnics, fishing, kayaking and standup paddle boarding. The Redcliffe Peninsula is well serviced with public transport should you wish to go to Brisbane.

Coochin Cottage is nestled at the base of the Coochin Twins mountain, only ten minutes from Australia Zoo and close to the Glasshouse Mountains. We have so much on our doorstep we can't fit it all in here! Walk, run, ride, explore, we are in the best location on the Sunshine Coast that you will wonder why you haven't been here before.
