Te Mahuru: Two-Bedroom Cottage with Hot Tubs

Te Mahuru Retreat is made up of a lodge with four single suites and one two-bedroom suite. Each suite has its own private bathroom, mountain views and private garden access. Each of the suites share a full kitchen, living room and dinning room in the lodge and BBQ and entertaining area. There is also a two bedroom self-contained cottage with its own private gardens, stunning views and BBQ. There is free access 24hr access to one private & one shared hot tub, both with fabulous mountain views

This home is an original railway house, being one of the first homes ever built in Kaikoura in the early 1940's. Levi/Liz renovated this home 6 years ago, ensuring all the beautiful rimu remains a key feature. There are shops, restaurants, coffee, and adventure tourism right on the doorstep (literally). This accomodation is very unique due to its location, sharing with Seal Kayak Kaikoura and Pedro's cafe (booking comes with perks). *The side toilet remains locked and is used for staff only.

For a unique and relaxing holiday in a rural setting, Kowhai Cottage is quiet and private, set under the rugged slopes of Mt Fyffe. There is an on-site gift shop that stocks our own lavender oil and other quality lavender products. Guests may wander in Lavendyl's gardens at any time. The rustic cottage features macrocarpa grown at Lavendyl in the hand built stairs, beds, kitchen surfaces and bathroom. It features a roof light to let you lie in bed and watch the stars.

Manakau Lodge; Kaikoura luxury & tranquility

Halfway between the breath-taking Mountains of the Kaikoura range and the Ocean sits Manakau Lodge; a deluxe 4 bedroom home. Each Bedroom has stunning views and an ensuite bathroom. 2 out of the 4 rooms have beds that can be split into twins. 8 people can enjoy comfortable beds, plus an extra 4 can use airbeds (3 people per room). The Lodge has a brand new full kitchen/ dining facility which incorporates a washing machine and dryer. Relax beside the huge open fireplace.

The Bach is located within an easy 8 minute walking distance to the shop & petrol station, 12 minutes walk to the lake and 14 minutes walk to the Nelson Lakes DOC Visitor Centre. Spend time walking, biking, boating or skiing. Then relax in the calm, cosiness of the Bach.

The farm is 5500 acres Sheep & Beef station, giving guests the chance to get a real feel for NZ. The cottage is self-contained,well decorated, guests are able to relax, enjoy a Farm Tour, free with two nights BBQ, Pool, Spa. DUE TO COVID Dinner service is not available.
