This unique cabin sits on 1.5 wooded acres, sleeps 6, includes two decks with outdoor sitting and cooking area, fire pit, and direct access to the river. Just 3 minutes away from John C. Campbell Folk School and less than 5 miles to downtown Murphy where you will find local shops, dining, and the small town atmosphere that will have you wanting more.

This is a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath one story home with plenty of room to roam on the 1.25 acres of wooded property. This is a rustic furnished cabin with hot tub, gas fireplace, fire pit in the back of the property and all the amenities for you to have a comfortable stay. 5 minute drive to Murphy, The Folk School & McGuires Farm. Its a 12 minute ride to the Casino. By booking this property the guest agrees to abide by all terms of our separate short-term guest agreement, which will be sent via email.

Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the quirky Scottish double-decker bus many magical guests would expect to see zipping through tight spaces and stopping to rescue wizards and witches in a pinch.   We also have a petting zoo and certified trout creek on the property. This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

The entire upper level is yours with its own private entrance. Access requires steps. Parking is the only shared space since the lower level has a permanent resident. Our 2 Game rooms equipped with: Ping Pong Table (No beer pong allowed), Air Hockey and vintage 90's Arcade console with over 100 games. 3 smart Roku tv's and fire pit for evening s'mores and gas grill. Please note this is an older wood cabin in a small town with the woods right in our yard.

Outdoor recreation on Lake Chatuge and the Hiawassee River is moments away. Fine-dining restaurants are nearby, or enjoy a meal on the balcony while watching the sunset.
