We are located 10 minutes from Black Moshannon State Park, and only 25 minutes from Penn State Beaver Stadium. Guests are provided with breakfast items for the duration of their stay.

Lots of great nature related places to visit such as Sinnemahoning State Park, Bald Eagle State Park, Bennezette (elk sightings), and others.

We are minutes from the hospital; 35 miles from Penn State University; 20 miles from the Elk County Visitor Center and located in the beautiful PA Wilds.

Quiet bedroom, living/dining room and private bath in older home, perfect for a short or longer stay. Private entrance. Double bed and a fold out cot/mattress. Totally private space is really like a one bedroom apartment. Located five minutes from DuBois Regional Medical Center and downtown DuBois. Ten minutes from the DuBois Penn State Campus. Simply furnished, but comfortable. Coffee maker (Keurig) and coffee. AC, Microwave and Refrigerator. Wifi . TV with basic cable. Pets Welcome.

Hometown Hideaway

Enjoy your visit in the cheery and bright basement of my home where you have a private entrance, separate parking, full kitchen area, (just bought new stove/oven) access to a quiet patio area that has been newly added, gas grill available and lots of greenery and woods in the backyard. I am one mile to the beautiful town area where you can enjoy our riverwalk, access restaurants, shopping is convenient as well. If your a Penn State fan I am 46 minutes away ( 41 miles). Thanks Sher

We are close to the Penn Highland Hospital, the Susquehanna River, Clearfield County Courthouse, Curwensville Lake, Parker Dam State Park, hour drive to Penn State, 45 minutes to The Elk Visitor Center and an hour from Punxsutawney, weather capital of the world. There is one bedroom with a full mattress, a queen sleep sofa and a twin in the kitchen/utility room with a ceiling mounted privacy curtain. Moose Creek runs behind our place so it makes for a lovely setting.

You will have exclusive use of the campsite, our Tipi hideaway is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors, sleeping under the stars, without sacrificing the comforts of home. When you come up our lane, stop at our house and we will take you to the site. You can drive to it. Please read and understand all our rules before you visit.
