Situated at the beach on the Manse Rd in Cloughey, the cottage is 200 years old and has a self-contained annex at the back. There is a magical, tropic garden at the rear of the property which is approx 60m long, with many areas to relax in. The cottage faces directly east so the sun rises in front of you with uninterrupted views - the beach is 10 metres away. We love dogs and know they will also enjoy our garden and the beach so the gardens are secure and gated. There is Bistro 100m away

The Little Birdhouse

Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. Enjoy the setting of this romantic Luxury Mountain Escapes on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack. Look out for Honey the Falabella pony and afew goats.
