Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

The Boat House is a finely crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Enjoy a cozy living space, full kitchen, fast WiFi, and bathroom. There are two lofts, a primary with a queen bed, accessed by a custom staircase, and a second with a double bed accessed by ladder. Relax by the fire, BBQ, or explore the water included kayaks & SUPs. Perfect for a couples retreat or small families. No pets. Discounts applied for stays longer than 1 night.

Off-grid riverfront guesthouse

This is a special riverfront setting directly on the Cabot Trail. Use it as your launching point for Cape Breton adventures of beaches, waterfalls and hiking. Wake up to birds chirping as you sip on your coffee in a cozy timber frame cottage overlooking the banks of the Margaree River. Our property, along with the guesthouse is completely off-grid and 100% powered by solar. There’s pathway to the river for swimming and kayaking. Private wood fired forrest sauna.

Guesthouse Studio Suite

Our quaint and cozy studio guesthouse is ideally located just minutes from Chimney Corner Beach and the world-famous Cabot Trail. We are just 20 minutes from Inverness and 30 minutes from Chéticamp, making it a convenient place to stay while exploring Cape Breton. The studio is a cozy place to rest and recharge during your travels, with everything you may need for a comfortable stay, including access to an oceanfront sauna. We look forward to welcoming you.

Our rate is $260/Night plus a one time cleaning fee of $70. BOTH of these fees include the 14 % HST, (Sales Tax) and the Provincial Hospitality Tax. Book 7 days? Communal washrooms and a shower are located in a separate building; there is also an area for washing dishes. The facility is off the power grid, so solar power is used for lightning. Ideally located for other activities such as tubing down the river, cycling the Cabot Trail and close to a grocery store with NSLC Products

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
