The surrounds are peaceful, with an abundance of native wildlife. The working farm has Scottish Highland Cattle, horses, sheep and dogs. There are extensive walking and bike trails, out the back gate and along the bush tracks you will find numerous sandbars, swimming and boating spots along the Murray River.

A BBQ is supplied on the balcony as well as limited cooking facilities in the kitchen including convection/microwave oven, induction cooktop and dishwasher. The pantry is stocked tea, coffee, sugar, sauces etc. internet is provided free of charge plus Netflix on smart TV. A washing machine is located under the staircase for use with a clothes horse stored in cupboard.
