After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

You may also enjoy docking your boat or fishing at the boathouse. We have 2 private boat ramps for you to use in the neighborhood. (Key to unlock the gate for the boat ramps is on the key rack). The AC/heat is split units with ceiling fans in each room. Come sit on the front porch, relax on the swing, or use the charcoal grill and fire pit. The cabin can be rented for 1 to 4 people. This stay features a very cozy private yard space with a fire pit, outdoor grill, and patio area. Inside you'll find a cabin atmosphere with exposed wood and modern amenities. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, living room, and kitchen.
