Da Shabby Moose has found a new space to share. We moved to wine country near Palisade. The sun kisses the earth here, thus sun lovers will thrive. Wines and Orchards are plentiful in this area. The view is incredible. Our outdoor shower is where you can soak up the sun while appreciating the beautiful views. Our space is peaceful and serene. Currently only 2 tents to keep it that way. Tents still have air conditioning, but until shade is added, they don't keep the tent cool in heat of the day.

Located less than a mile from public access to the Gunnison River, and to to hunting Units 54 and 55. 1.5 hr to Black Canyon Nat'l Park as well! Soak in the hot tub or give Sassy (the horse) a head scratch. Cots available for additional guests.

These tents are cleverly designed with cozy fireplaces, a queen bed and some comforts from home. Our location offers mountain views and vast open skies for stargazing, as well as close proximity to the hot springs. Our heated bath house is a short 1 minute (or less) walk away from the tents.

16 x 20 Legacy Tent

Experience unforgettable moments in our Legacy tent! Ideal for an amazing family getaway in the great outdoors! It's powered by solar energy, with a king bed, two twin beds, and a futon. This tent does NOT have running water although we provide ample water bottles, a 2 gallon jug and a full coffee bar. Also, note there is no cooling system in the Legacy tent. This stay is perfect for those planning daytime adventures and sitting on the deck listening to the river at night.
