Your own private retreat- stunning modern cabin on 16 secluded acres in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge — just 45 minutes from Portland. Welcome to our stunning two-bedroom, two-bath arched cabin nestled along the Sandy River. Enjoy direct access to the river, where you can bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings and a view of Mt. Hood. The open concept living area boasts large windows that frame the breathtaking river views, creating an inviting ambiance that's perfect for relaxing. Indulge in a the barrel sauna with panoramic river vista. The cabin is close to endless activities up and around Mt. Hood.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

Introducing the newest jewel in our crown: The Ravens' Nest opens her Wings to you. This snug riverside bungalow has everything you need. Relax in your separate bedroom overlooking a waterfall year-round. Cook up a storm in our kitchen. Eat at the dinning room table or out on the deck. Finish your evening in the 6 person hot tub.
