The Hen House Cottage

Hen House Cottage is a beautifully restored small barn in a picturesque rural setting 2 km from Dromore West, 10 minutes from the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Suitable for a couple or single occupancy, this charming, well-equipped cottage has a dutch-style box bed, shower and a small kitchen. It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. Rent reduction negotiable for stays of 7+ nights - and ample changes of bed linen for longer stays.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Beautiful timber/stone barn c200 yrs old renovated in 2015 to a high standard, set on an organically/permaculture inspired smallholding in countryside close to historic town Athenry. Featuring a large double bedroom with 4 poster bed, a sleeping loft, suitable for children/young adults. Fully fitted Kitchen. Contemporary Shower room with Compost Toilet. In 2021 we've added a wood-fired sauna and hot/cold shower spa area available for guests on one* night of your stay, subject to arrangement.

It is a perfect retreat for Couples and Solo Travellers especially, and a complimentary home cooked meal will be included at no extra cost for all those single guests travelling alone, if they wish.

The Mews, a traditional barn with the convenience of modern life, is ideally located in a tranquil setting, convenient for exploring the sights of County Clare. It is 25 minutes from Shannon Airport, 15 minutes from Ennis, the medieval capital town of Clare and 10 minutes from Tulla, the local town.
