You are welcome to Lough Aisling and our chalet, situated on the lake’s edge. Enjoy many lake views and see otters, swans, ducks, little grebes and perhaps a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher. Lough Aisling is an ideal location for nature photography and an artist’s paradise. Along 5km of walkways, you are free to explore the biodiversity of lakes, woodland, wild meadow, shrubbery, bogland and esker. There are lots of popular local attractions close by to enjoy in Ireland’s hidden heartlands.

Mill Race House

Millrace House, our newly built modern 4 bedroom getaway, situated within walking distance of the historic little town of Kilbeggan in Co. Westmeath. We chose the name of our house as a little mill race flows at the end of our garden from an old former corn mill next door. The River Brosna flows behind us also. A romantic old couple of swans can be seen here and a proud Heron, who sits on the riverbank every day waiting for his catch. You can't miss him! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

This unique 270-year-old building brought back to life by your hosts Caroline and Paul, has a style all of its own. Its modern interiors and historic surroundings blend, to give tranquility to its guests after a day of discovery in the surrounding countryside. Our local shops & pubs cater for all your requirements and our town playground can give the little ones hours of fun. For a work stopover, we have free parking, WIFI, a workstation on request, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower.

Scandinavian Wooden Sleeping Barrell

In Monasterevin, this memorable place is anything but ordinary. It’s fully wooden construction imported from Lithuania. It’s seasonal camping style (from March to November) overnight experience for adventurous people who are walking or cycling through our beautiful canal side area or just stopping by for few nights to discover County Kildare. Small breakfast included. There is an opportunity to use steam room ( for a small fee) and use complimentary bicycles (subject of availability)

Riverstown House, a charming period residence located in a picturesque setting on the banks of the Little River Brosna. Straddling the border between counties Tipperary and Offaly and only c.1km from the historic heritage town of Birr. The residence retains a host of original Georgian features. It was constructed around 1770 as a presbytery. The village of Riverstown is located within walking of Birr, a designated Irish Heritage Town and home to the reknowned Birr Castle.
